Instructions for Use

Mixing

Use directly from container. No mixing is required. For the best cure for freshly place concrete, apply SikaCure as soon as possible after the finishing operations and/or immediately after the disappearance of the “sheen” of surface moisture. Spray is the recommended and preferred method of application. The product may be applied by squeegee or cloth mop.

Typical Specification Clause

Concrete surfaces shall be cured by a spray applied, water based acrylic, membrane forming compound such as SikaCure as manufactured by Sika Australia Pty Limited. Material to be applied strictly in accordance with manufacturers instructions.

Important Notes

  • Do not apply at temperatures below 4°C.
  • If applying epoxy or urethane coatings, adhesion testing is essential.
  • Do not use as a bond breaker for tilt-up construction.
  • Do not subject to rain or water until SikaCure dries hard (ie. 4 hours or longer).
  • Product may blush. Do not use in areas that are continually moist where appearance is important.
