Keyjoints / PVC Joints

Concrete Keyjoints, also known as interlocking PVC joints, are a type of construction joint. Concrete cracks are prevented by providing a continuous pathway through which the concrete can expand and contract as it changes temperature.

Additionally, Keyjoints limit differential vertical movement between adjacent slabs in addition to allowing lateral movement. It is possible for concrete sections to move independently without causing any damage to one another. These zones serve as buffers between sections of concrete. In thisway, concretee will remain structurally sound for a long period of time.

The appearance of the finished concrete surface is enhanced by Keyjoints. By providing a clean, straight edge, they enhance the appearance of the concrete. In public areas, such as sidewalks, driveways, and other concrete surfaces, this is especially critical.
