Operational Instructions
Upon purchase, the ULTRASTIK® will be in its storage/lock position. When ready for use, pull the handle firmly and twist it until the spring-loaded handle lowers down the shaft. The head of the ULTRASTIK® will now attract ferromagnetic items.
Once the head is active, move the head of the ULTRASTIK® towards the ferromagnetic items you wish to collect until they attract to the end of the head.
After the items are attracted, position the end of the ULTRASTIK®’s head over a collection bucket/container, pull the handle and the attracted items will fall off the head without having to touch them by hand.
After use, set the ULTRASTIK® back into its storage/lock position by pulling the handle hard and twisting the handle until you feel the handle slightly lower into a rigid position. Once in its storage/lock position, the ULTRASTIK® will no longer attract to ferromagnetic items/surfaces.

The ULTRASTIK® has been ergonomically designed in length and functionality to minimise body movement whilst using the tool however whenever working on any task for an extended period of time, ensure job rotation between workers is implemented wherever possible to reduce muscle aches or Musculoskeletal Disorder (MSD).
The ULTRASTIK® utilises the power of a strong rare earth neodymium magnet. The more ferromagnetic items that are attracted to the head when in use, the harder it will be to pull the ULTRASTIK®’s handle to release them. Wherever possible, keep the ULTRASTIK® close to your body when pulling the handle as you can utilise your strength better when your hands are close to your body as opposed to pulling the handle when your arms are outstretched.
Use caution when using the ULTRASTIK® as the powerful magnet can unintentionally attract/accidentally damage electronic equipment or medical equipment or metal finished surfaces if positioned too close to the item(s). Keep your body (and any other items that could be damaged) clear of the magnetic attraction radius area wherever/whenever possible. To reduce unintentional attraction/accidental damage, always set the ULTRASTIK® back into its storage/lock position as soon as possible after use.
The ULTRASTIK® was designed to eliminate the need to physically remove sharp metal items by hand off the head of the magnetic pickup tool however whenever working around metallic dust, sharp metal objects or edges, ensure you’re wearing suitable personal protective equipment such as safety gloves and glasses.
Never cut or modify the ULTRASTIK® in any way.
Always keep the ULTRASTIK® away from other ULTRASTIK®s or other magnets as the powerful magnet ends can snap towards each other.
The ULTRASTIK®‘s material is water resistant however the ULTRASTIK® is not designed to be submerged in water or left in the rain. Always keep the ULTRASTIK® away from water wherever possible and always keep the ULTRASTIK® upright wherever possible to avoid water or debris getting underneath the slidable handle and into the centre of the tool as the ULTRASTIK® contains some metal internal parts.
Never use the ULTRASTIK® near electricity or touch it to a power point
Never use the ULTRASTIK® for any other purpose than collecting ferromagnetic items.
