Limestone Sealer

Limestone Sealer is a deep-penetrating, water-based silicone coating made to protect horizontal limestone and Freemantle stone. It keeps the natural look and feel of the surface while providing strong, invisible protection. You can use it on patios, walkways, pavers, and outdoor stone areas to extend surface life and reduce maintenance.

This sealer was featured on the Growing Home series with Jamie Durie for its eco-friendly formula and reliable performance. It works by soaking into the surface and creating a water-repellent barrier. This barrier helps prevent damage caused by water, like efflorescence, cracking, erosion, and freeze-thaw cycles.

Unlike some heavy coatings, Limestone Sealer does not alter the stone's appearance. The matte finish preserves the original tone and texture. Since it's water-based and low in VOCs, it's safe to use around homes, gardens, and public spaces.

You only need one coat to get long-lasting results. It dries quickly and starts working fast. By keeping the surface dry, it also stops algae and mould from growing. This helps keep outdoor spaces cleaner and safer.

Application

Prior to application, joints or cracks must be properly sealed or filled. Limestone Sealer will NOT bridge physical cracks.

Preparation

Remove dust, dirt, oils, grease, curing compounds, previous coatings, efflorescence, moss, mould or lichen prior to application.

For surfaces affected by moss and mould and lichen apply NuTech Hypo as directed in the relevant TDS and rinse.

Surfaces must be clean and dry prior to application.

Application

• 1 coat application is recommended.

However, due to surface porosity, a 2^nd coat can be applied "wet on wet"
