PaveCoat Petrol Resistant is a high-performance, solvent-based acrylic penetrating sealer engineered for environments where petrol and mild chemical spills are common. Application:

Preparation: Prepare surfaces using EcoSafe Etch and Nu-EcoSafe Ultra Etch, and pressure wash before PaveCoat application.

Equipment: Roller or Brush.

Conditions: 10°C to 30°C ambient, dry conditions. Do not apply if: Rain is likely within 12 hours, it is late in the day or early in the morning. Failure to observe these directions can result in coating damage and surface clouding.

Application: Thin in accordance with the surface profile. Apply two even coats, observing recoat and drying times.

Warnings:

  • Do not park vehicles with hot tyres or place heavy items on newly applied PaveCoat Petrol Resistant for at least 7 days.
  • Do not apply PaveCoat Petrol Resistant late in the day or early in the morning. Sealer affected by moisture loses gloss and may appear milky.

Safety Precautions:

  • Petrol Resistant PaveCoat contains flammable solvents and suitable safety precautions must be taken during handling and application.
  • Ensure X-5 Solvent is used for thinning and clean up.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation if applying in enclosed spaces.
  • Avoid contact with naked flames, sparks, pilot lights and other sources of ignition.
